As a Host, you will serve up smiles and Southern goodness in a fast-paced, warm environment that feels like home. You will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter our establishment. You will make sure that guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. This position requires a great personality and a willingness to learn. The host must be aware of new menu items and specials and be able to answer any questions about the menu.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed, and dressed in proper uniform.

• Greet and seat all arriving guests according to rotation and acknowledge all departing guests in a friendly manner.

• Provide menus to guests and answer questions.

• Utilize our guest management app to manage reservations and waitlist for the establishment, and seat guests accordingly.

• Arrange tables and seating to accommodate guests, including groups, as needed.

• Assist in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables when needed, ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

• Check bathrooms for cleanliness periodically.

• Follow up with guests as they are leaving to ensure they had a great experience and invite them to return.

• Pay attention to the FOH atmosphere and ensure that the lighting, music volume, and overall cleanliness are all being kept up for a great first impression.

• Answer the phone calls.

• Complete side work and other duties as assigned.

Pay: $13.50/hour + tips

Shift/Schedule: Fridays and Weekends
